Thank-you to Roxanne Magaw, for believing in me and pushing me toward my goals. My best friend Dana came into town, upon her arrival she sent me a text message stating her mom got me a book. I was excited to hear this news and when I arrived to her house the book to my left was the inspiring book. I have started reading the book today and it is definitely what I need to push me forward and get me where I need to be! I will get my dream job!

Interning gave me the opportunity to job shadow WSB-TV anchor, Jovita Moore. Upon arrival I was nervous to meet such an influential person in my career field.
Mrs. Moore pulled up ready to work as we walked into the 2PM meeting and we went over the news rundown for the day. After the meeting we went to hair and make-up where she gave me the chance to ask her any questions I had for her. This is when I noted that she was one of the most down to earth people I had ever met. She is great at her job though and when that camera is turned on, she can put a news face on in an instant!
For the first half of the show I sat in the control room as the producers and controllers went crazy making sure every shot came in at the perfect moment. For the second half I sat in the actual newsroom as she anchored the show. After I asked her more questions that ran through my head during the show, and this was the very moment that I realized news is where my heart is. Thank you Mrs. Moore!!!!!!!

As an Intern, I had the opportunity to interview Chipper Jones at Firehouse 11 in Atlantic Station. He responded to my questions with great answers and also allowed me to take a picture with him. As a Braves fan this was on of the highlights of my internship. Jones has decided to retire this year, so this was perfect for me!!!!!
